Volunteer

Volunteering with TEN is a meaningful way to support 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and the people who lead them. Volunteers help us deliver programs, build community, and keep resources accessible—so the sector can grow stronger and more connected.
Whether you have a few hours a month or want to contribute specific skills, we’ll help you find a role that fits.
What volunteering can look like
Volunteer opportunities may include support with:
Event support (virtual or in-person, as available)
Community engagement and member support
Communications support (content, captions, scheduling, outreach)
Administrative support (organizing information, light coordination)
Research, editing, or resource support (depending on needs)
Who volunteering is for
Volunteering may be a good fit if you:
Care about strengthening 2SLGBTQI+ communities and organizations
Can bring a respectful, reliable, and team-oriented approach
Are open to learning and working within community guidelines
Want to contribute skills or build experience while doing work that matters
What you can expect
We aim to make volunteering clear, supportive, and well-organized. Volunteers can expect:
A clear overview of the role and responsibilities
A primary point of contact
Orientation to TEN’s community guidelines and ways of working
Reasonable time commitments and defined tasks
Ready to get involved?
If you’d like to volunteer, complete the intake form and we’ll follow up when opportunities align with your interests and availability.
